Folks Automation Conducts PLC-IoT Training for PT Selamat Sempurna

FOLKSAUTOMATION.COM – Depok, West Java, Indonesia – October 1, 2024. Folks Automation has been successfully conducted a training session on PLC (programmable logic controller)-IoT (Internet of Things) technology for the Automation Team at PT Selamat Sempurna. The training was held on September 29 at the company’s headquarters in Tangerang, Banten.

The training was initiated following PT Selamat Sempurna’s recent purchase of IoT-PLC FC100-B and MPIO units. As a corresponding move, the company sought Folks Automation’s expertise to optimize their use of these devices.

The training covered various aspects of PLC-IoT technology, including:

  • Introduction to PLC-IoT: A foundational overview of the technology and its applications.
  • PLC Connection Setup: Guidance on configuring and connecting the PLC device.
  • Codesys V3: Training on using Codesys V3 software for PLC programming.
  • Connection to IO: Demonstrations on connecting input/output modules to the PLC.
  • Connection to Node-Red (IoT): Instructions on integrating the PLC with Node-Red for IoT applications.
