Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Pancasila and Folks Automation Sign MoA for Independent Internship Program under Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka

univpancasila.ac.id – On Monday, February 19, 2024, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was officially signed between the technology company Folks Automation and the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Pancasila. This action marks the commitment of both parties to collaborate in implementing the Independent Internship Program under Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), an initiative aimed at preparing competent graduates who are ready to compete in the era of globalization.

The leadership of Universitas Pancasila has long upheld a commitment to preparing graduates with a deep understanding of technology, with the objective of enhancing their competitiveness on the global stage. In this context, automation technology has been identified as one of the key aspects in developing the academic competencies of students within the Faculty of Engineering.

Knowledge of various types of automation technologies such as Robotic Automation, Fixed Automation, Programmable Automation, and Flexible Automation is considered a major strength in improving the competitiveness of Universitas Pancasila graduates. Therefore, collaboration with technology companies such as Folks Automation is deemed crucial to ensure that students gain practical experience aligned with industry needs.

This Memorandum of Agreement represents an initial step in strengthening partnerships between academia and industry. It is expected that similar MoAs will continue to be expanded across faculties within Universitas Pancasila. The Independent Internship Program under Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) is regarded as a key driver in developing high-quality Human Resources who are well-prepared to face the challenges of the professional world.

The Rector of Universitas Pancasila warmly welcomed the signing of this MoA, stating that the initiative aligns with the university’s vision of becoming an educational institution that produces high-quality and highly competitive graduates.
